New workflow connects owner standards, project specifications, product requirements and manufacturer evidence in one continuous review process

SAN FRANCISCO, August 26, 2026 — Core Runway Inc. today announced expanded capabilities that allow construction teams to carry design and compliance requirements from project specifications through the product submittal process.

Construction requirements are rarely contained in a single document. A product submitted for approval may need to comply with an owner's design standards, the architect's specification, drawing schedules, sustainability requirements and supporting manufacturer documentation.

Traditionally, those sources are reviewed separately and manually.

Core Runway uses AI to connect them.

The platform can identify relevant requirements within specifications and drawings, structure those requirements before a submittal is prepared, and then compare the proposed product and manufacturer documentation against the original project requirements once the package is returned.

In a recent test involving a university painting scope, Core Runway extracted requirements across 25 individual paint tags, including product types, colors, sheens, substrates, primer and topcoat combinations, VOC requirements, dry-film thickness and quality-control requirements.

The information was converted into a structured pre-submittal package in approximately one minute.
